The annual Relay for Life kicked off at 6 p.m. Friday at the track behind Alvirne High School in Hudson. NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The No. 18 Salisbury University softball team got off to a quick 1-0 lead over McDaniel College in the regional round of the 2012 NCAA Division III Softball Championship but ultimately fell in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Green Terror came up with a walk-off grand slam to win, 4-2.

After a successful end to the Capital Athletic Conference tournament and picking up an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament the No. 18 Salisbury University Softball team received more good news on Monday as nine members of the flock were named to the All-CAC first and second teams, along with taking home Player of the Year and Coach of the Year awards.
