After he crossed the finish line, Lakes High's Izaic
yorks earned a bit of Washington state high school history in the 1,600-meter run, completing the four laps in 4 minutes, 4 seconds. Not only was it an all-time best mark in the state, he wrested away the 2012 national lead from a fellow Pierce County runner – White River’s Marcus Dickson (4:05.83).
