The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to an aircraft down near the Santa
ynez Valley Airport. Around 8:00 a.m. Sunday a pilot needed help landing his small aircraft because of heavy cloud cover.

ynez baseball team hosted Paraclete in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 5 playoffs. The Pirates weren't able to score any runs against Paraclete starter Joseph Rodriguez and lost 7-0.
