What’s biting A new wave of spawning has provided plenty of bed fishing. Fish are coming in shallow in weeds and wooded areas. Honey holes Banner Marsh producing good bass around the East Access on plastics, crankbaits and some topwaters along weed edges. Catfish have been on a decent bite using dipbaits.

Catfish have been on a decent bite using dipbaits. Bluegill and channel cats still on a good bite at Spring Lake along the turnoffs on the south end. Cats are taking nightcrawlers mostly, but shrimp and shad also working. Gills are taking waxworms or redworms.
