Turkish Festival brings mixture of tradition and fun to downtown Reno

Time-tested Turkish culture will be celebrated at the Turkish Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in Reno's Wingfield Park. The event is hosted by the Sierra Foundation, a Nevada-based nonprofit that fosters intercultural and interfaith dialogue. In its fifth year, the festival will feature culinary delights, arts and crafts, and a cornucopia of music, dance and fun for the young.
