There's no frost date now to hold us back! Grab the garden fork and those gloves and let's get dirty in the garden. This time of year is perfect for planting tomato and pepper transplants. Also squash and pumpkins. Melons too like the warmer weather.

It looks like the warm weather will continue well into next week. It may not get way up in the 80s, but there’s certainly no frost in the foreseeable future. The rule of thumb in Vermont is to not plant super sensitive vegetables in the garden ...

No frost. Towards the end ofthe night the warm front I mention above starts to show its hand in the form of thicker cloud to the SE of the region. That will give patchy, showery rain there on Sunday morning . A mixed start to the day.

But that trend now seems to be changing. A local weather forecaster has even stated that it is now safe to start planting with no frost danger in the near future for the Flint area. One can see an increase of camper and boat traffic on the expressways ...
