Jason Belschner topped the men rolling games of 224, 254 and 299 for a 777 series in the T.G.I.F. league last week at Saint Lucie Lanes. Not to be outdone, Jason's wife, Laura, led the women with a 258 game and a 654 series in the Sparemakers league.

Central Valley High School’s Sydnee Scofield was crowned 2012 Lilac Queen during a ceremony Sunday at the Spokane Masonic Center. Scofield was selected from a group of 14 high school seniors who competed for the crown. Each gave a speech based on a quote assigned by Spokane Lilac Festival officials.
