Eddystone to hire more police; suspends plumbing inspector

At Eddystone Borough Council meeting, several members of the audience urged council to hire additional police officers, especially for the summer. One woman said shots were fired May 13 in the vicinity of the 9th Street bridge connecting the borough and Chester, noting it is common to hear gun shots in the area.
